Hawaii and Wailea are hot, hot, hot for visitors! Wailea hotels led in all three tourism measures so far in 2018:

  • Highest RevPAR (average revenue per available room)
  • Highest ADR (average daily rate)
  • Highest occupancy rate (90.8%).

Why so strong, you may ask? Maui wins ‘Best Island’ awards year after year, for over two decades now. Wailea hotels reported the highest rates statewide. You can choose from many world class, luxury Wailea hotels.

If you are looking to visit Wailea, now is a great time to look as April and May are considered “shoulder season.” That includes easier access to mainland flights, too.

All classes of hotel properties reported RevPAR growth in February. Luxury Class hotels led the market, growing both RevPAR to $477 (+15.7%) and ADR to $587 (+12.0%), with occupancy rising to 81.3% (+2.6 percentage points). Upper Class (+11.1%), Upper Midscale Class (+10.9%), and Midscale & Economy.
