This year’s event will be from May 24th through May 30th and includes Pre-fixe menus for $29, $39 or $49 per person (tax and gratuity not included). Each restaurant has agreed to make a contribution to The Maui Food Bank for every Pre-fixe entrée sold. This biannual event has raised thousands of dollars for a wonderful charity.
The participating 19 restaurants include: Capische?, DUO Steak and Seafood (Four Seasons), Fabiani’s Wailea (Wailea Gateway Center), Gannon’s (Wailea Gold & Emerald Course), Humuhumunukunukuapua’a (Grand Wailea), Joe’s in Wailea (Wailea Tennis Club), Ka’ana Kitchen (Andaz Maui at Wailea), Ko (Faimont Kea Lani), Longhi’s (The Shops at Wailea), Mala Wailea (Wailea Marriott), Manoli’s Pizza Company (Wailea Blue Course), Matteo’s Osteria (Wailea Town Center), Migrant Maui (Wailea Marriott), Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman (Wailea Gateway Center), Morimoto Maui (Andaz), Mulligan’s on the Blue (Wailea Blue Course), Nick’s Fishmarket Maui (Fairmont Kea Lani), Pita Paradise Bistro Wailea (Wailea Gateway Center), Ruth’s Chris Steak House (The Shops at Wailea) and Tommy Bahamas (The Shops at Wailea).
I will be visiting Steve Christner at one of our favorites, Ruth’s Chris Steak House. That’s where we went last year on restaurant week and I blogged about it. Their specials usually include the soup/salad and desert as freebies.
Migrant with our favorite chef, local boy extraordinaire, of Top Chef fame, Sheldon Simeon. But don’t forget Migrants Be Happy Hour everyday from 4-6pm with 50% off food and drink.
Right here at the Shops at Wailea, Tommy Bahama’s will be adding two new entrees not on their menu for this event which include a Li Hing Mui spiced local catch and Brown sugar crusted chicken breast.
