Brother Noland’s talents soar in his performance of traditional Hawaiian music, slack key and Hawaiian swing. Last year, the State of Hawaii honored him with the “Lifetime Achievement in Music” for his passionate efforts to infuse Hawaiian music with innovation and creativity as it paves the way to new paths in music all around the world. He was recognized as being the creator of “Jawaiian” (fusion of Hawaiian and Reggae) music.
